It was later in his years, after his many adventures on the sea searching for treasure and adventure, that brought Sir Walter Whimsley to the lighthouse. Tales of his long voyages and encounters with pirates, mermaids and creatures thought to be mere legends paled in comparison to his true heart's desire. It was his love for a special lass that called him to the lighthouse. For many years, he found incredible happiness on the shore while tending to the duties of a lighthouse keeper with his childhood love. Time never stands still nor can it always heal a broken heart. He spends his days collecting shells and yearning for the day when the great hole in his heart will be filled with her once again.
