Beneath a bruised twilight sky, the marsh held its breath as the fae thief cradled the shimmering egg. The last heir of an ancient dragon line long thought extinct. Ravens circled overhead, their black wings whispering omens as they bore witness to a destiny she had no right to claim. Mud clung to her legs and magic to her bones, but still she knelt, fierce and unyielding, knowing the hunt would soon begin. In that fragile moment between theft and consequence, the world shifted. Its future now resting in the hands of a wild, defiant fae.
