I love the soft colors of this painting. It perfectly captures the sweetness and tender moment shared between an unlikely assortment of friends. I wonder where they are venturing to or perhaps running a bit behind schedule! A bit of friendly prodding from a well groomed dashing grasshopper, all too eager to encourage the ostentatious Miss Claire to paddle her webbed feet faster. Perhaps to arrive fashionable late to a tea party.
