Several months of preparation went into the design and building of her rocket pack. Many afternoons were spent scavenging through the junkyard for bolts, canisters and loose gears – not to mention “borrowing” her mother’s fine sheets. Not one to shy away from a challenge and the allure of being the talk of the town, the big day finally arrived with the most spectacular sunrise! And curiously enough, fairies from the neighboring forest were a welcome sight to offer any needed assistance for this little girl with a courageous heart.
